Author and former Imagineer Bruce Gordon dies at age 56

Bruce Gordon, a former longtime Disney Imagineer who was involved in the creation of numerous Disney theme-park attractions around the world and wrote or co-wrote an array of Disney-related books, died at his home Tuesday at 56, a Disney spokesman said. He was the author of Disneyland: The Nickel Tour, and had a key role in Splash Mountain and other attractions.
