Lotte World blamed for lacking safety standards

Police investigating the recent death of a 28-year-old man who fell from a roller coaster ride at Lotte World are looking into allegations that the amusement park in Chamsil, southeastern Seoul, neglected safety standards. Lotte World, one of the most attended amusement parks in South Korea, has been denying claims that the man, identified as Sung, caused the tragedy by undoing his safety belt.
