"We're really excited for the upcoming season, and think that guests will really be in for a treat with the new improvements and additions we've been working on," said Five Flags CEO Mark Shapiro. "Despite the failing economy and the fact that we had to sell off one of our flags to reduce our debt load, we felt that Charmland's potential for generating a profit in this market was simply too good to pass up."

The centerpiece of this year's capital improvements is the highly-anticipated roller coaster to rule them all, KaLiath. "This monster has already been generating considerable buzz on the Internets," said Grace Lenss-Hunter, General Manager of Five Flags over Charmland. "At a cost of $45 million, it's by far the biggest investment this park has ever seen. Visitors from all across the country are already busy planning their trips. You'll be rocketing hundreds of feet in the air, not to mention accelerating and racing through forests. Where else on EARTH can you find an experience like this one?"

Five Flags over Charmland is also committed to improving the rest of the park experience. Guests this year will see wider and more airy midways, the introduction of technology that will let you cut those long lines, and the debut of family-favorite restaurant Papa Rockets - sure to appease anyone's taste buds! Existing attractions are even getting facelifts with new paint jobs, enhanced themeing, and hollywood-style special effects that will leave you breathless.
