What's New for 2008?Great news! To satisfy our guests' demands for quality atmosphere and charm, we're adding 450 new trees to our midways. Additionally, you'll also see new wood fences, rustic paint treatments, old-fashioned signs, and quaint brick pavers. Is Anything being Removed to make room for construction?Unfortunately, due to the logistics of bringing in 450 of these wonderful world-class trees, the project necessitated having to remove about 800 existing trees. They were off to the side, nobody will really notice anyways. You didn't listen to my suggestion for a new attraction. What gives? While we always try to appeal to all of our guests, we need to give visitors in our target market what they want. Customer research is important. A survey last year asked guests to rank the following ideas: new stage shows, trees, a play area for kids, or a 230-foot Intamin Hyper; as you probably guessed, trees won by a landslide! Thanks, you've ruined my life. Now what am I supposed to do?I suggest airing out your grievances in a caring Internet forum community. They'll understand. I've been coming to your park since I was in diapers. You owe me!That wasn't a question, but the last time I checked, we own the park and you don't... and thus we don't owe you a damn thing. Thank you for your patronage. Don't you love me anymore?Of course we do. As much as any business trying to stay in business can love its customers. Our goal is to provide guests with a fun yet broad experience that's also a good value. While we can't please everyone, is it possible perhaps you haven't considered everything our park has to offer? Like most anything else, our little park is evolving. It's not the same it was 50, 20, 5, or even 1 year ago. People change, ideas change, we make mistakes but try to learn from them. Stop by with a fresh perspective, and we'll try to change your mind. In the meantime, the rest of us are going to enjoy the trees! |
