Deaf children find rewarding work at Six Flags Over Texas

Great article. I'm deaf as well. I used to work at Great Escape as an ride attendant on Comet and Bobsled.

Sometimes when it's loud, all you use are hand signals to communicate. Look at the bright side, since the deaf have lost their hearing, there other senses like sight & smell & touch get better. A deaf person might feel an odd vibration that nobody else might. Hats off to Six Flags (for once!)
