Six Flags New England gets first of several approvals for new coaster after stop order

The Planning Board unanimously approved a revised site plan for Six Flags New England's $7 million indoor roller coaster project last night. The approval marks the first of several hurdles the revised plan must clear to pave the way for a building permit. A building inspector issued a stop-work order on the project Feb. 20, saying Six Flags had begun significant construction without a building permit.
