See everyone is loving these new interactive dark rides, why can't Cedar Point get one. I so want one near me *wining off*

Well, can they beat some kind of records if Cedar Point builds one? Longest interactive dark ride? Biggest number of targets? If they can't... then they won't build it!

^^Cedar Point had lots of problems with people vandalizing the Pirate Ride. When I worked on the Blue Streak, Pirate Ride was frequently closed during the week. Spitting, gum, stickers, you name it. I think that would be a GREAT addition to steel-coaster-saturated CP. Good break from the sun and "hot concrete" too!

That ride was decades old and lacked modern restraints. That's hardly an indication of what a modern ride would be about (not to mention every new ride has total surveillance coverage).

I find the interactive dark rides boring. Give me one like Knoebel's Haunted Mansion over an interactive any day. -Tambo

I rode Gobbler Getaway nearly as much as I did Voyage last year (a lot). I enjoyed every trip around Autumn Falls. I think one would be a fantastic addition to any park, even if it is a second third or fourth darkride at that park. Does anyone have any insights as far as the large decrease in ticket price?

Give me another Kurse of DarKastle. That thing is amazing and apparently *only* cost the same as Dragster. Such a better deal!

And people thought a coaster enthusiast like me moving to Denver was a bad idea... Who's laughing now!!!??? [crickets chirping]

|
|
Well let's put it this way, I'd rather be in Denver than in Cleveland.

Way better than throwing in a $20 million coaster like Six Flags likes to do.

also replying to a hoffman50, main tickets (adults) down $10 to 34.99. Parking down $5.
