The former Kennywood scooters went to KNOEBELS, Ask Dick Knoebel or John Fetterman and they will tell you so. This version of the news release indeed says it's Premiers first Ten tub model. WOOT!, I really hope it's built as sturdy at the orriginal. PREFERRABLY A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL! 70+ years old and many are still operating and being SNAPPED DAILY! Chuck, Who agrees, PKI should seriously consider this. For half a million they can have a bunch of happy guest compared to multi million rides that bring people for one season.

Idlewild's is a new ride from Premier Rides. I'm not sure who bought Erieview's Flying Scooter. Also, the Flyer at Knoebels used to be at Kennywood during the 1960s sitting in front of Noah's Ark. It was sold to Knoebels in the early 1970s. The flying scooter at Lake Compounce also came from Kennywood. That one first ran at West View Park, then operated at Idora Park. Kennywood bought it during Idora's auction in 1985 and kept it in storage at Idlewild. They sold the tubs to Seabreeze after their's were destroyed in the fire that also destroyed their carousel (they were being stored in the carousel building during the off-season). New vehicles were manufactured for the ride and it was installed in Lost Kennywood in 1995 as the Phantom Flyers for 1.5 seasons. They were shipped to Lake Compounce mid-1996 when construction for Pitt Fall began.*** This post was edited by Brother Dave 2/13/2007 8:40:15 AM ***
