Great Escape announces indoor water park resort details

Six Flags, Inc. today unveiled the name of the region’s highly anticipated hotel and indoor waterpark that is expected to serve as a gateway for visitors to the Adirondack region of New York State. To be called the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark, the preeminent attraction will be open year-round and will be the only hotel and indoor waterpark in New York State when it debuts to tourists and visitors in winter 2005.

Woo Hoo another in-door water park, these seem to be some new craze or so it seems, maybe now SF would invest some mu-la into its other park down here in WNY, , but highly unlikly I know, i got my fingers crossed for somthing new to plop down at darien next year.

Oh I didn't even realize this was in the NEWS section as well!

I'm very excited about this. All the construction going on around the park (and Queensbury in general) is awesome. The place is really transforming.

Hopefully more great things will happen to and around the park. Rumor has it the park will be "flagged" in 2006. We hear something along the lines of that every year though so I'm not getting my hope up.
